MID_JULY BEE BALM/ garden harvest

Heres is a shot of my glorious bee balm! I love its fragrant leaves. Also I found a pleasant suprise this morning in my garden, new potatoes ready to eat YUMMM. I think I will grill them add, rosemary and thyme. My rasberry patch has also been productive and I have my first bag ready for freezing. I use them in winter, cook to a reduction to use as a glaze over cheesecake!

Spring has sprung!

Even though my camera did not do a good jobs shooting this, it is still a welcome sight. Under the wet leaves, near the big pile of snow, was this tiny day lily!! That is a sure sign spring is here, also the maple sap is running, the roads are muddy and we have corn snow,,so yes it is definetly spring in Vermont!
